Vans Berle Pro Shoes

Introducing the first pro model designed in collaboration with pro skater Elijah Berle and Vans, these Berle Pro Shoes have black suede and canvas uppers with contrasting white leather side stripes. Made to be worn when skating a variety of terrains, the low-profile silhouette includes additional attention at the front of the toes with an extra rubber border that continues up from the midsole alongside a curved suede section which widens at the side to support repetitive wear. Along the edge of the foot, sections of textile sit below signature side stripe decoration as well as two ventilation eyelets. The cushioned tongue has a breathable mesh top layer and wide black cotton laces, which allow for a customizable fit. Hidden underneath, a collaborative woven label showcases stylised Vans x Elijah Berle branding which has been coloured to suit the rest of the design. On the back of the heel, an extra panel of suede has been added for further durability.

Not only the first Elijah Berle Pro style but also the first shoe to feature new WaffleControl engineering which looks to decrease the amount of individual parts separating the foot from the board. The wide black rubber midsole meets with a light brown coloured outsole designed with a specific waffle tread pattern, developed to provide an incredible level of board feel, grip and control. The cushioned ankle border is complemented by a Luxliner which integrates the tongue and internal lining to supply a comfortable, breathable and responsive fit.

Based in Santa Monica, Elijah Berle is known for his all-terrain style and ‘less is more’ attitude towards pushing the boundaries of skateboarding. This first collaboration combines Berle’s sleek personal style with a selection of purposeful features that encourage the next generation of skate footwear.
