Nike SB Dunk High Pro NBA Shoes

Following on from September’s collaborative capsule, Nike SB x NBA have teamed up on a pair of Dunk High Pro Shoes. The whole body is dressed in black leather, with team red piping throughout the seams of the toe cap running up alongside the eyestays and the tongue running right up to the ankle. The yellow can be found along the edge of the raised Nike swoosh on either side panels which runs along to the heel counter. This stark red colour is contrasted by the college navy laces which are further accented by the outsole sitting beneath a white midsole. However, through wear this shoe becomes the embodiment of the NBA franchise. Using similar techniques to the Nike SB Jordan 1 Lance Mountain the black paint wears away to reveal a team red leather under which, when combined with the black, gives a tasteful aged look with a starkly contrasting yellow Nike swoosh.

Despite the unique design, this shoe provides maximum function for skaters and everyday wearers - the high top provides additional support for ankles, while being secured with overlays and adding durability. The wearer is further aided by the responsive cushioning as a result of the Zoom Air unit within the sockliner, which sits atop the outsole specifically patterned with a circular tread to allow for multidirectional grip.
