New Balance Numeric 306 Jamie Foy Shoes
Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year 2017; Jamie Foy introduces his first pro model shoe for New Balance. Coming as the New Balance Numeric 306 Jamie Foy in green / red, with a premium suede upper, coupled with a unique visible rubber underlay that serves to reinforce in areas prone to more wear. Sitting on a vulcanised sole, New Balance have included features such as a breathable mesh window on the side, which increases airflow and flexibility, Ndurance high abrasion rubber, custom moulded EVA insole and a tacky gum rubber outsole for a well rounded finish. This green colourway sees pops of red in places, with the New Balance ’N’ logo double stitched in leather. Accompanying the release of his inaugural pro shoe, Jamie Foy has dropped some hammers in a new part, fittingly titled ‘306’.
With a vast catalogue of running and lifestyle footwear, New Balance introduced their solely skateboarding focused Numeric line in 2013. With a footwear roster ranging from minimal to tech, the number of the shoe title corresponds to the amount of technology incorporated into the design. So for a stripped back shoe go for a lower number, ie the 212 or if it’s innovation you’re after, try something higher like the 913.
